In 1995, Doug became a certified Herbalist, performing Reflexology and energy work on humans. After two years, Doug studied with Pat Young, an Equine Energy Balancer who has traveled extensively from coast to coast, holding clinics and performing energy balancing on horses. It was with Pat's encouragement that Doug began treating horses as well as people.

Experience has shown that horses tend to get "blocked" in the top of the neck/poll area. Doug next teamed up with Pat Spratt, Equine Chiropractor out of Wyoming and together they refined their practice of adjusting and balancing horses in the most complete way possible!

Doug and Linda use their education in reflexology, trigger points, and chiropractic techniques to balance horses. They have found that a balanced horse is healthier, has more energy and moves easier once they have applied their techniques.

Doug Smith has been in the horse business most of his life with over 40 years experience between the race track, performance horse, rodeo arena and ranching.

His purpose is to teach you to better understand your horse and to be able to recognize if your horse is in balance.

Our clinic's involve you and your horse, we keep the clinic size at 10 to 12 head. We will process each horse individually. After watching 10 to 12 different horses get balanced you will come away with a different appreciation for and care for your horse.

We will be teaching you some simple physical signs to look for on your horse when there is a Selenium deficiency present. The whole Northwest and many other parts of the country are very deficient in Selenium. It is essential for the well being of your horses.

Doug and Linda have a happy list of "references" that include not only horses and people, but dogs as well.

They work as a team to bring their clients the results they need. With a long history of handling horses, Doug  offers a unique and holistic approach to getting your horse back on track.
