* The Physical Fuses
(located in the chest)
- When these fuses are out of balance, the cause is something physical - a sickness, worms, recent vaccinations, etc.
If these spots are out of balance, the fuse points will often be very tender.
Balancing the physical fuses on a sensitive horse can drop him to the ground.
So begin using your thumbs or fingers with gentle pressure on these points.
Then proceed to heavy pressure, as the horse is able to tolerate more.

"The Fuses"
Energy fields within the body are linked by "circuit breakers" called fuses.
The fuses are always balanced using your fingers.

Use your test to check the fuses.
If they are not in balance, rub them in a circular motion using your thumb or fingers.
All the fuses must be in balance or the energy fields you attempt to treat will not stay in balance.
Sometimes rubbing the area lightly with a flat hand after balancing eases the stinging.
Be sensitive and listen to the horse, he will tell you.

- These fuses are out of balance usually due to stress, unhappiness, or changes in routine or environment.
* The Mental Fuses (located on each side of the head)
- The brain cannot receive messages correctly when these fuses are out of balance.
The cause is usually something quite traumatic (i.e. an accident, a fall, or any electrical shock).
The mental fuses are not out of balance very often.
